Journey
I was eleven when I first watched a photograph appear in a tray of developer. It was black and white—high contrast—and completely still. But to me, it pulsed. It was the beginning of a lifelong pursuit: not of pictures, but of witnessing. Of the moments people often rush past. The ones we feel most deeply, but rarely record.
My work—whether in the studio or on pilgrimage with a camera—is about what lives in between:
The beat before a child laughs.
The glance between generations.
The quiet inheritance of a mother’s gaze.
In 1997, I met Nisha in Canada. We married in 2001 and built a life and a family together. Our daughters, Anousha and Aimée, have been part of this creative journey from the beginning. Nisha has been instrumental in the creation of our mixed media work—her inspiration, collaboration, and steady encouragement have helped shape not just the art, but the very heart of our business.
I work with families, women, and legacy seekers who aren’t looking to be posed—they want to be seen. Not for who they wish to be, but for who they already are. I also work on long-form projects and fine art series, many of which are available as limited editions. And I collaborate with brands, curators, and publications seeking visual storytelling with emotional depth and timeless craft. Always project-based. Always personal.
