It all began in 2002, when Nisha and I moved to Ottawa. She saw some of my past work and inspired me to open our first studio in Canada. Ottawa is where it all started—a place that nurtured my vision and gave rise to a faithful following and a brand that is now recognized across the country.

At our Ottawa portrait studio, every session is about more than just photographs—it’s about connection, presence, and the courage to be seen.
When Mariette came to the studio, she was here for her sister, Lina. She wanted to celebrate Lina’s journey, capturing her in a way that felt authentic and true. Mariette had always been hesitant to step in front of the camera. “No pictures of me alone, please,” she said at first.
But in that quiet studio space—where trust and empathy guide every portrait—something shifted. Mariette let herself breathe. She smiled. She felt safe to be seen.
“It wasn’t as scary as I thought,” Mariette later shared. “It was fun. I love my picture.”
